The opportunity
As a member of EY’s Financial Services Risk Management practice, you will support the delivery of integrated risk management and regulatory consulting services to clients across banking, capital markets, insurance, and asset management sectors. Your role will involve assisting in the design and implementation of risk frameworks that enhance business performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing guidance on regulatory requirements and risks to clients and internal teams.
- Assist in client engagements focused on enterprise risk, credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and compliance risk management.
- Assist in conducting regulatory impact assessments for new regulations.
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and filings.
- Collaborate with other EY service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and trends across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or other quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in a quantitative or finance related area is an advantage.
- Experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within consulting, regulatory agencies, or relevant industries is valued; a minimum of 2 years is considered an asset.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and processes applicable to credit and financial institutions is an advantage; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
