Oracle Fusion Functional Manager (Financials / PPM)

Experience

  • 8 - 11 years of relevant experience in Oracle Fusion PPM and/or Oracle Fusion Financials/E-Business Suite. Candidates with strong expertise in either or both domains will be considered.
  • Should have led at least 4 full lifecycle Oracle ERP implementations, with exposure to Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Experience in client-facing consulting roles.
  • Good exposure to integrations, data conversion, and migration activities.
  • Experience in solution design, preparation of functional specifications, and driving solution delivery.
  • Hands-on experience in application configuration, testing, test case preparation, and execution.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Conduct business requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Analyze client requirements and map them to Oracle Fusion functionalities.
  • Conduct CRP sessions, participate in design reviews, and facilitate solution discussions.
  • Interpret functional requirements and independently design and deliver solutions from offshore locations.
  • Design integrated Oracle Fusion solutions aligned to business requirements.
  • Lead Fit-Gap Analysis, Solution Design, Testing, Training, and User Adoption activities.
  • Support business users during CRP, SIT, and UAT cycles.
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training materials, and other project deliverables.
  • Conduct user and stakeholder training sessions.
  • Collaborate with PMO, business stakeholders, leadership teams, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion modules in either of the following domains:

 

Oracle Fusion Financials

  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Expenses
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management (CM)

 

Oracle Fusion PPM

  • Project Costing
  • Project Billing
  • Project Foundation
  • Project Contracts
  • Project Control
  • Project Resource Management
  • Project Performance Reporting
  • Grants Management (where applicable)

Candidates are expected to possess deep expertise in either Oracle Fusion Financials or Oracle Fusion PPM. Knowledge of both domains is desirable but not mandatory.

 

Competencies / Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective solution designs.
  • Experience with documentation methodologies such as OUM, AIM, or other industry-standard frameworks.
  • Strong customer handling skills with the ability to lead and mentor team members.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly understand and apply complex business processes and requirements.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of release management and deployment processes.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel for client engagements.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • CA, CMA/CWA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
