Senior Java Backend Developer - Pune Maharashtra India | CIti Job

The Senior Java Developer role is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
• Advanced Java Knowledge: Deep understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Microservices: Proven hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining applications based on a microservices architecture.
• Multithreading: Strong expertise in Java concurrency, including thread management, synchronization, and concurrent data structures.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for debugging complex systems.
• Experience with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

Preferred Qualifications (An Advantage)

• Database Knowledge: Experience with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch , Redis).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architecture (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of API design principles (REST, gRPC).
