Job Description:

The Clearance Coordinator manages the shipment, tracking, organization, and return of document boxes from off-site storage. The role maintains accurate shipment and content logs, prepares materials for Clearance Specialist review, and ensures boxes are properly returned to storage. When time permits, the Clearance Coordinator provides additional support to studio and Clearance teams on production and rights-related projects.

This position is a Project Hire approved until September 2027.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate shipments of document boxes to and from the storage facility.
• Maintain accurate logs of shipments, box contents, status, and location.
• Review and organize box contents for Rights Specialist review.
• Track boxes throughout the review process and coordinate their return to storage.
• Identify and communicate missing materials, discrepancies, or shipment issues.
• Coordinate with the storage facility, Rights team, and studio personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of production and rights-related materials.
• Review documents for clearance purposes
• Provide additional project and administrative support as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience with production deliverables and familiarity with production releases.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive materials.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Washington, DC is $59,600 to $79,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
