Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe application development and support.
•Strong hands-on experience with:
oCOBOL
oJCL
oCICS
oVSAM
oDB2
•Stored Procedures (SPs)
•Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability production environments.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
•Design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical mainframe applications.
•Perform analysis, coding, testing, implementation, and production support activities.
•Develop and maintain programs using COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, and Stored Procedures (SPs).
•Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
•Conduct impact analysis for application enhancements, defect fixes, and system changes.
•Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and support activities.
•Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices and standards.
•Support release deployment activities and ensure smooth transition of changes into production.
•Prepare and maintain technical documentation, application design documents, and operational procedures.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
•Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
