Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities 
Application Development & Enhancement 
•Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical automotive and manufacturing applications. 
•Develop scalable and efficient software solutions using C/C++ on Linux platforms. 
•Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell Scripting, Perl, and GAWK. 
•Implement application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations. 
•Participate in software design reviews and technical architecture discussions. 
Production Support & Incident Management 
•Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for production applications supporting manufacturing operations. 
•Investigate and resolve critical production incidents impacting assembly and manufacturing processes. 
•Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring issues. 
•Participate in on-call support rotations and major incident response activities. 
•Collaborate with plant operations and cross-functional teams during production events. 
Debugging & Problem Resolution 
•Utilize GDB and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex application and system issues. 
•Analyze core dumps, memory leaks, segmentation faults, and performance bottlenecks. 
•Review application logs and system metrics to identify failure patterns. 
•Drive problem management activities and continuous improvement initiatives. 
Linux Systems & Automation 
•Administer and support Linux-based application environments. 
•Develop automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities. 
•Optimize system performance and reliability across development, testing, and production environments. 
•Ensure compliance with security, operational, and disaster recovery standards. 
Configuration & Release Management 
•Manage source code repositories using Git. 
•Support CI/CD and software release processes. 
•Maintain development standards, documentation, and version control practices. 
•Coordinate code deployments and production validations. 
Collaboration & Leadership 
•Partner with manufacturing engineering, operations, infrastructure, and vendor teams. 
•Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. 
•Contribute to project planning, technical roadmaps, and technology modernization initiatives. 
•Document solutions, procedures, and support knowledge articles. 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
