Position: DC Infra Eng II - AMZ23202.5
Location: Austin, TX

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and building codes across different countries.
1. Review and approval of product design and drawings including mechanical parts, assembly, construction and electrical drawings.
2. Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during manufacturing phases.
3. Work with field engineering and commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical products.
4. Creation of designs which meet or exceed our quality requirements while delivering a return on investment.
5. Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment.
6. Work with contract manufacturers to integrate designs and work with them to develop processes that promote the best quality at the lowest cost.
7. Provide support for manufacturing activities for the new products on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
8. Support of Operations including failure mode and root cause analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting support, and operating procedure review.
9. Collaborate with other disciplines such as Data Center engineering reliability, QA/QC and compliance teams to create well thought out products.
10. Supports the Data Center Design Engineering, Principal Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams to design and develop cutting edge concepts into new products

Domestic travel up to 50% as well as 5% for international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $116800 - $160000)

Basic Qualifications:

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or a related occupation.
Experience must include 1 year of experience in the following:
1. Mechanical design of electrical or industrial equipment.
2. CAD modeling and detailed drawings (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or NX).
3. Manufacturing support, including DFM, FAI, and contract manufacturer coordination.
4. Cross-functional collaboration with quality, reliability, and compliance teams.
