Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. As an Industry Solutions Product Manager at AWS, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of industry-specific solution assets that accelerate customer adoption and drive industry revenue growth. Working across a virtual industry squad of Solutions Architects, Builders, and specialists, you will translate deep customer and industry insights into a prioritized portfolio of reusable, increasingly GenAI-powered solutions — taking each asset from hypothesis to validated, scaled offering.

Key job responsibilities
Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for industry solution assets. Gather and synthesize customer insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to identify and prioritize use cases.
Own the asset backlog; make data-driven prioritization and investment decisions.
Partner with Solutions Architects, Builders, and specialists to take solutions from concept to scaled adoption.
Define success metrics and track adoption, reuse, and revenue impact of the portfolio.
Manage the asset lifecycle, including sunsetting and versioning decisions.
Act as the voice of the customer and the industry across a matrixed, cross-functional organization.

About the team
The Industry Builder team is the core engineering force within AWS, dedicated to turning industry solutions into working, reusable assets through rapid code delivery. Through rapid validation, demo building, asset code delivery, and shared-capability development, the team transforms industry insights and solution designs into runnable, reusable industry solution assets.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
- Experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services
- Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements, development cycles and schedules
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
