Our 18-month Trainee Program offers you hands-on experience in Sales and Business Development across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Through several assignments, including an international placement, you will gain valuable insights into our business and prepare for a long-term career within Hitachi Energy.

How you'll make an impact

• Support the sales team during tendering and sales activities by preparing offers and analyzing customer requirements
• Contribute to business development activities within the utility, industrial, and mobility sectors
• Identify new business opportunities and support market and customer research
• Assist in sales reporting, KPI tracking, and budget planning processes
• Collaborate with local and international colleagues across functions and business units
• Gain exposure to commercial, technical, and strategic topics in a dynamic environment

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, and technology-driven industries
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus
• Self-driven, eager to learn, and willing to work in an international environment
• International mobility for assignments during the program

Additional important information: Start date of the program is 01.02.2027.
