Practice Supervisor

The Practice Supervisor provides front-line leadership and operational oversight for the assigned practice, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, efficient workflows, and high-quality service delivery. This role serves as a key liaison between providers, team members, and practice leadership, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

 

We strongly encourage candidates with a clinical background to apply, as this role partners closely with providers and clinical staff to support patient care, optimize workflows, and drive operational excellence.

 

Ideal Candidate

• Clinical background preferred (e.g., Medical Assistant, LPN, or other healthcare-related experience).
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare, physician practice, or ambulatory setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and drive operational improvements.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

  

Scope of work

Directs the activities of team members within assigned areas and ensures the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction. Trains team members and serve as a liaison between providers, team members, and practice manager in daily operations. Supports charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement, and practice staffing. Manages team members’ performance and development and ensures policy adherence. 

 

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, management or other related areas Preferred.
• 2 years of recent relevant supervisor experience in health care/medical practice or related work Required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare leadership, or relevant leadership experience informal or formal Preferred.
