Job Description

As a Risk Manager, International (INTL) within Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) Risk & Resilience (R&R), you will support and contribute to Amazon's enterprise risk management (ERM) program. This involves creating innovative and scalable solutions to protect Amazon people, assets, and operations across EMEA and APAC. You will produce data-driven risk assessments that enable business decision-making on proportionate security controls. Reporting to the head of INTL Risk Management, you will contribute to international risk coverage, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones, and implement program outcomes that ensure downstream security functions and operational leaders can act with precision against emerging threats.

Key job responsibilities
o Identify risks to Amazon, analyze business impact, and develop actionable treatment plans.
o Engage stakeholders to understand new business models and operational programs to ensure a comprehensive risk management approach.
o Leverage Gen AI solutions to quickly analyze data, drawing out how different risks and recommended mitigations affect the broader supply chain.
o Responsible for contributing to key performance indicators (KPIs) related to risk assessment delivery and loss avoidance.
o Work independently within a geographically dispersed team.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- o 3+ years of experience in security operations or risk management
- o Experience managing and analyzing large data sets with Gen AI solutions.
- o Experience working cross-functionally with a diverse breadth of stakeholders.
- o Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- o Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
