Position Overview:

Join Palo Alto Medical Foundation as an Audiologist and play a vital role in helping patients improve their hearing, balance, communication, and overall quality of life. In this position, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with hearing, balance, and related auditory disorders while providing compassionate, patient-centered care across a diverse population.

Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and multidisciplinary care teams, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, perform comprehensive audiologic assessments, and educate patients and families on treatment options and hearing health. This role may also include hearing aid evaluation, fitting, dispensing, programming, and follow-up services to support optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong clinical expertise with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building trust and confidence with patients, families, and colleagues through attentive care and professional guidance. You will exercise sound clinical judgment, ensure timely and accurate documentation, and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, privacy, and quality.

In addition to direct patient care, this position offers opportunities to contribute to the professional growth of others by assisting with the clinical supervision of support staff and serving as a clinical instructor for students. Other: Graduate of an accredited audiology program.


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

AUDIO-Licensed Audiologist

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

2 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.

Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines.

Computer and required technology proficiency/ competencies.

Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.

Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Pay Range is $128,814.40 to $180,336.00 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
