Job Summary**

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking experienced para-professionals with specialized skills in various repair and maintenance trades to support our operations. This role involves performing a range of technical tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our equipment and facilities.

Job Responsibilities**

* Execute routine and preventative maintenance tasks on a diverse range of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other system malfunctions.
* Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments of components, parts, and systems according to technical specifications and safety protocols.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities.
* Conduct inspections and identify potential issues or areas for improvement in equipment performance.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
* Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical problems.
* Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members as needed.
* Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in relevant trade specializations.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in a relevant trade (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing) is strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in one or more specialized repair and maintenance trades.
* Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues independently.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations relevant to the specific trade.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions.
* Relevant certifications or licenses in a specific trade are a significant advantage.
