Financial Analyst | Supervising Associate

Location: Wrocław - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

BA&I (Business Analysis and Investments) team is seeking for a Finance Advisor (experienced Supervising Associate) to support the EY CBS France organization. BA&I is one of 4 functions within EY FP&A team. On that role you will act as a finance professional that serves as a business partner and strategic advisor to key business leaders and assists the CBS France Finance Lead in providing critical thinking on business direction, operating performance and financial results, in support of CBS leadership teams. 

This role will establish a trusted relationship with their client, understanding their needs and teaming with other Finance team members to bring best in class analytical support, functional expertise and reporting solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (Actual, Plan and Forecast) to support the decision-making discussions on the Region Executive meeting
• Prepare reporting and analysis to identify key areas of focus based on actual performance which can be developed into insightful commentary for key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the coordination and processing of key financial processes including Plan, Forecast, Month End, Year End

• Ad hoc requests from key stakeholders to answer business questions using a variety of data sources and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help businesses make better decisions.

• Be proactive in raising the profile of the Finance team within the business and in contributing to your own professional development

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance)
• +4 years of experience in a related accounting or analysis function

• Strong spoken and written English

• French (spoken and written) language is preferred. Proficiency would be an advantage, but is not required

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Able to demonstrate initiative in approach to problem solving
• Proactive and self-sufficient working style with ability to prioritize whilst escalating as appropriate to prevent dilution of existing controls
