Primary Skill: IBM DataStage, Oracle, SQL
Preferred: UI –Linux shell script, Autosys
Experience: Minimum 10 years
Roles & Responsibilities
· Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
· Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies.
· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
· Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations.
· Coordinate with business users, application teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
· Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations.
· Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes.
· Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
§ Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management experience.
§ SLA monitoring and production support governance.
§ Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
