Join our structural analysis team and play a pivotal role in shaping the safety, efficiency, and longevity of next-generation fuselage structures as well as supporting our active flying fleet.

As a Lead F&DT Engineer, you will serve as the technical anchor for primary airframe structures, steering complex stress and F&DT activities, guiding junior engineers, and driving key technical decisions across major aircraft programs.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Pioneer Safe Fuselage Structures: Lead complex F&DT analysis work packages, establishing technical guidelines, approving stress dossiers, and mitigating engineering risks.
• Program & Certification Strategy: Interface with chief engineers, airworthiness authorities, and design teams to define structural validation strategies for new programs and fleet updates.
• Empower a High-Performing F&DT Team: Act as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level engineers, ensuring high quality, consistency, and skill development across the team.
• Methods & Process Evolution: Drive technical innovation by integrating advanced simulation techniques, automation workflows (Python), and structural health strategies into daily practice.
• Cross-Functional & Fleet Oversight: Steer critical fleet issue investigations, complex repair validations, and multi-disciplinary trade studies involving design, manufacturing, and test teams.

What You Bring

• Education: Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: You bring several years of experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance and associated Process, Methods & Tools.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading technical work packages, managing interface stakeholders from all cultural backgrounds and mentoring team members.
• Tool Mastery: Deep proficiency in FEA platforms (e.g., HyperWorks, Nastran/Patran, Abaqus) and custom methodology development.
• Languages: Fluency in English (working language).
