Job Title: Senior Consultant - Infrastructure Resilience

Experience Range: 5-8 Years 

Role Summary

Support infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, and recovery readiness initiatives across compute, storage, backup, virtualization, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role focuses on resilience assessments, DR testing, recovery validation, ransomware recovery preparedness, and improvement planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct resilience assessments across compute, storage, backup, virtualization, cloud, identity, and network services.
• Evaluate recovery strategies, dependency mappings, recovery sequencing, and recovery readiness.
• Execute DR tests, failover/failback exercises, recovery simulations, and validation activities.
• Assess backup and storage environments for recovery readiness, replication, immutability, retention, and RPO/RTO alignment.
• Develop and maintain DR plans, recovery runbooks, and recovery procedures.
• Support ransomware recovery preparedness, trusted restore validation, and recovery exercises.
• Identify resilience gaps, recovery risks, and SPOFs, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, operations, application, audit, and business teams.
• Prepare assessment reports, recovery roadmaps, and client deliverables.
• Support workshops, solutioning, and consulting engagements.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, or related infrastructure domains.
• Strong understanding of compute, virtualization, storage, backup, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Experience with backup technologies, replication, snapshots, immutable backups, retention, and restore processes.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including LAN, WAN, redundancy, failover, and load balancing.
• Experience with DR planning, recovery testing, failover/failback, dependency mapping, and recovery validation.
• Understanding of ransomware recovery, trusted restores, and recovery preparedness.
• Strong documentation, analytical, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Understanding of hosting models, cloud platforms, and datacenter strategies.

Good to Have

• Exposure to AI/GenAI, AIOps, observability, and telemetry-driven resilience solutions.
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or automation scripting.
• Basic understanding of database backup, recovery, and resilience concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure, AWS, VMware VCP, or similar infrastructure certifications preferred.
• Experience supporting infrastructure transformation, resilience, or DR programs.
