Job Summary:
This entry level position is responsible for creating Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) drawings and associated parts lists using a variety of tools, including Blueprint, Siemens Xpedition, Common PDM, and Microsoft Office tools.
This position is an ONSITE role, located in McKinney, Texas. This position may become HYBRID after the first year and/or when mentorship is successfully completed.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Updating legacy AutoCAD drawings and experience with drafting standards. Interfacing with electrical, mechanical, and producibility engineering disciplines
Configuration management to ensure that design requirements are captured for successful hardware development
Strong computer, communication, and organization skills
Mentorship provided to train and guide throughout the learning/growth cycle
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a 2-year Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, or Associates of Applied Science, or Associates of Engineering Technology, or equivalent
Typically requires previous experience with at least one of the following:
* Coursework or work history with PCB manufacturing or CCA manufacturing principles that affect circuity and component layout
* Experience with the electrical design process
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance may be required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ASME drafting standards and guidelines as they relate to drafting
Mechanical design skills sufficient to be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings as they relate to CCAs
Strong customer interaction skills with engineers of all levels
Communicate effectively through various means up to and including telecoms, MS Teams, video conferencing, etc.
Effectively multi-task and making updates or changes quickly and efficiently
Able to develop technical solutions to complex problems through use of ingenuity and creativity with minimal supervision
A self-starter and possess the ability to work autonomously while establishing schedule and priority needs
Proactive not only within their own discipline, but be able to apply those qualities to other similar/complementary disciplines
Working knowledge of operating system concepts and implementations, network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
This position may require the eligibility to obtain a security clearance in future.
