Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program February 2027 - Perioperative, Acute Ward Speciality Areas

 

Location: St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside  

12 months (52 weeks) maximum term part time contract; February 2027 commencement!

About the position:  

 

Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside 2027 Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program commencing in February 2027, with the exciting opportunity to work in an acute hospital environment. We offer the following acute-care specialties:  

Perioperative Services: Theatre, Recovery, Endoscopy and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory

Acute Ward-based Specialties: Urology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Oncology/Haematology, Palliative Care, General Medical & Surgical, Gastrointestinal, Colorectal & Bariatric Surgical, Medical Cardiology, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical.

Our Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program commences February 2nd 2027 with completion in February 2028 offering a 52 week, fixed term, 0.84 FTE position.

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse prior to program commencement 

  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team  

  • Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care  

  • Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital settin

  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)

Remuneration:    

The position of Graduate Enrolled Nurse, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is an Enrolled Nurse, Year 1, with a base remuneration of $41.38 hourly + superannuation + shift penalties + allowances.
