The Opportunity
We're looking for a strategic leader to help shape the future of the firm's workforce. As the Workforce Strategy Consultant, you'll identify and translate business priorities and emerging workforce trends into practical strategies that evolve the shape, size, and skills of the workforce.
Reporting to the Workforce Strategy and Design Leader, you'll lead a workstream to drive complex strategy work while partnering across various stakeholders to connect strategic direction with evolution and execution.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of workforce strategy, analytics, and enterprise transformation.
What You’ll Do
Shape Workforce Strategy and Models
- Identify and frame strategic workforce questions, synthesize internal and external perspectives, and develop recommendations aligned with firm ambitions
- Help translate shifts in business models, technology, AI, and service delivery into implications for future roles, skills, capacity, and talent models
- Support the development of future workforce models through aligning business needs to future role definitions, career pathways and skills frameworks
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to clarify trade-offs and prepare concise, executive-ready recommendations
Enable Enterprise Alignment
- Maintain consistent contact with Service Line Integration Leaders to understand the strategic priorities of each Service Line to ensure perspectives across the business are captured throughout the strategy development process
- Influence senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization while incorporating diverse perspectives into the work
Connect Strategy to Execution
- Partner with Talent Evolution, Workforce Operations, analytics, technology, and data teams to help translate strategy into sequenced initiatives and measurable outcomes
- Identify practical implementation requirements, roadmaps, governance approaches and potential risks to help push strategic priorities forward
Drive Delivery
- Set objectives, manage scope, priorities, risks, and timelines, and coach team members to deliver high-quality outputs
- Build reusable frameworks, methodologies, and knowledge assets that strengthen the consistency and impact of workforce strategy work
- Identify responsible opportunities to use approved AI tools to improve analysis, decision-making, quality, and productivity
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Experience in workforce strategy, corporate strategy, talent transformation, organization design, workforce planning, or professional services transformation
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate complex analysis into practical recommendations
- Experience leading complex projects or workstreams across multiple senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize data, research, and stakeholder input
- Executive-level communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
- Understanding of professional services workforce dynamics and the impact of AI, automation, and emerging technologies on talent models
- Experience managing priorities, risks, deliverables, and team contributions while maintaining quality and objectivity

Within your first 12–24 months, you will:
- Develop clear, actionable workforce strategies connected to firm and business priorities
- Build senior stakeholder alignment on future workforce assumptions, choices, and strategic direction
- Deliver high-quality executive recommendations within agreed timelines
- Translate strategy into prioritized initiatives, roadmaps, and implementation requirements
- Increase the use of data, scenarios, and AI-enabled insights in workforce decisions
- Strengthen the team’s workforce strategy methods, knowledge assets, and delivery capability
