Join the EY Global Accounting Outsourcing Team

Join our global accounting outsourcing team and gain hands-on exposure to international accounting and finance operations across the UK and other global markets. The role involves supporting end-to-end finance  processes, regulatory compliance, management reporting, and stakeholder engagement while working closely with overseas clients.

The work location for this role is to be based in the Colombo office of EY Sri Lanka.

We are looking for a Senior Executive with the Key responsibilities:
following requirements:

• Finalist - CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA
• Willing to work in UK business hours (1pm - 9pm)
• Have 3-4 years of experience in accounting

• Ability  to directly engage with international clients through one-to-one meetings, demonstrating confidence and professionalism in client-facing interactions
• Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English language, both written and spoken

• Possess strong technical capability, dynamic teaming skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive, positive attitude towards work
• Possess exceptional client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with overseas clients and global teams
• Strong  communication skills in English language both written and verbal

• Hands on experience on accounting software

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations for international clients
• Prepare management reports, reconciliation's and financial analyses
• Support month-end, quarter end and year-end close processes

• Liaise directly with overseas clients through one to one meetings, building strong professional relationships
• Assist with other compliance-related activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

• Support engagement management and client deliverables
• Demonstrate a proactive and client-focused mindset, anticipating client needs and consistently seeking opportunities to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service.
• Take ownership of client deliverables and deadlines, displaying a solution-oriented approach to achieving agreed outcomes
