The Operations and Outreach Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and outreach support for the nursing program. This role manages activities related to student engagement, partnership development, and day-to-day program operations to support the mission and strategic goals of the Center for Nursing Education.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year experience in administrative or program support.

1. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Four (4) year’s experience in an administrative or program support role preferably in an educational or healthcare setting.

1. Coordinate community outreach, recruiting, partnership, and community service activities.
2. Plan and execute external events and community engagement initiatives, including management of logistics, registration, communications, and preparation.
3. Engage with prospective students, faculty, and staff, and serving as a knowledgeable representative of the program.
4. Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective applicants and all program inquiries, leading facility tours and meeting with applicants to provide clear, accurate information about the program.
5. Assist student services staff with admissions-related processes and communication.
6. Manage and maintain accurate records and databases related to students, alumni, partnerships, courses, and program activities; assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis.
7. Lead social media and marketing efforts for the site, including development and distribution of promotional materials, newsletters, announcements, and digital communications.
8. Foster alumni engagement through communication, events, and relationship-building initiatives.
9. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to support program delivery.
10. Provide administrative support across departments.
11. Coordinate the purchase of supplies and equipment, manage inventory, and maintain an organized and professional environment.
12. Support budget tracking, expense reporting, purchasing, and invoice processing in collaboration with the Director of Operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
13. Answer departmental phones, screen calls, and communicate verbal and written messages in a timely and professional manner.
14. Provide professional customer service and representation for the organization while maintaining confidentiality in all actions and communications.
15. Manage multiple work assignments and priorities to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
16. Work effectively and respectfully as a member of the team, demonstrating professionalism in interactions with peers and leadership.
17. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning and working environment.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
