Role title: Scrub Scout Registered Nuese

Role type: Permanent full time / Permanent part time 24 hours or Casual

About the role

  • Provide high-quality Scrub and Scout nursing care across a range of surgical specialties.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre environment.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control principles.
  • Ensure surgical instruments, equipment and consumables are prepared and available for procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards.

About you

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recent experience in a Scrub/Scout nursing role especially in ophthalmic/plastics
  • Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of surgical specialties.
