Job Description

To provide constant and efficient operations of the physician's medical office. Duties to include scheduling, patient registration to include demographic and insurance data; enters information in the hospital computer system; maintains quality control for each preadmission and admission to insure accuracy of information; acts as liaison between patients, financial counselors and hospital patient accounting; insures that all state, federal and MUSC policies and procedures are followed. Functions as the first line of contact receiving patients, answering incoming calls, and monitoring the waiting room.

Additional Job Description

High school diploma or GED is required. Two year's of relevant experience.
