 Mainframe Developer with Payments 

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Mainframe Developer with Payments domain expertise to design, develop, enhance, and support mission-critical payment applications. The ideal candidate should have strong mainframe development skills and hands-on experience with payment processing systems, including ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, Real-Time Payments (RTP), and ISO 20022 messaging standards.

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.

•Analyze business and technical requirements and develop scalable solutions.

•Perform application enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support.

•Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

•Optimize application performance and resolve production issues.

•Develop and support payment processing applications for ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, SEPA, or ISO 20022 payment   flows.

•Work closely with business teams to implement payment regulations and compliance requirements.

•Support payment investigations, reconciliation, exception handling, and settlement processes.

•Participate in payment modernization and migration initiatives.

•Strong experience in:  COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, File Processing & Batch Scheduling

•Experience with Endevor, Changeman, ISPW, or similar source control tools. 

•Knowledge of MQ Series, FTP, and API integrations. 

•Experience with production support and incident management.

Salary Range- $95,000-$130,000 a year
