Job Description

The EKG Technician performs electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions in patients. This role involves operating EKG equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring accurate recording and interpretation of cardiac data.

Additional Job Description

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized EKG training program or documented on-the-job EKG training and at least one year of directly related patient care experience in a health care setting. Experience in Holter Monitor scanning and Stress Treadmill procedures preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
