Job Description

A Unit Secretary handles clerical and administrative duties in health care settings. Their duties include greeting patients, handling patient files and scheduling. This care-team member is typically a certified nursing assistant. Occasionally, this employee will be required to take residents as a CNA assignment in the event of a staffing crisis.

Additional Job Description

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Certification:  Basic Life Support with the American Heart Association is requred
