Roles & Responsibilities
· 8+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or product ownership.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in payments or transaction processing systems.
· Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
· Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and enablers.
· Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
· Balance priorities across regulatory mandates, tech debt, resiliency, and new feature development.
· Ensure backlog readiness for sprint planning.
· Partner with Scrum Masters and engineering teams to ensure efficient Agile delivery.
· Participate in sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
· Accept or reject completed work based on defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
· Strong understanding of banking or payments systems (ACH, Wires, RTP, Cards, Cross-Border Payments).
· Knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory impacts on payments.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and architecture teams.
· Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, microservices, and data flows (functional level).
· Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, trends, and product performance metrics.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong decision-making and prioritization capabilities.
· Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
