Job Description:

The ROO is an organization that supports the operations of over 200 company owned and over 1,000 franchised convenience retail stores operating under the brands of Thorntons and ampm across the west coast, Midwest, and northeast. We are seeking guest-centric leaders with a growth and strategic demeanour to help us continue to build the top tier convenience retail chain of the future. The Production Worker is responsible for all aspects of food preparation including producing, picking, weighing and sorting product.

What you will deliver
 

Invoice Management 
• Manage all receivable and payable invoices 
Inventory and Reporting 
• Conduct monthly inventory and complete end-of-month paperwork 
 

Supply Ordering 
Order all vital supplies for the building, including: 
  - Cleaning products 
  - Ecolab 
  - Dawn or equivalent
  - Lapari 
  - Other vendors as needed 
 

Ryder Truck Service Management 
• Schedule service with Ryder 
• Advise drivers of truck assignments for service 
 

Bakery Paperwork 
• Enter all daily bakery paperwork into PDI 
• Print and distribute paperwork for all vendors (including TA and new vendors) 
 

Daily Production Paperwork 
• Ensure all production paperwork is: 
  - Completed accurately by drivers 
  - Includes accurate routes and truck assignments 
 

Job Functions (RESPONSIBLE TO) 


• Process daily production orders 
• Track and submit time and attendance requests 
• Be responsible for daily operations of the Fresh Serve Bakeries administrative office 
• Support staff and management 
• Perform additional duties as assigned 

Work Shift and Compliance 


• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM  
• Ensure adherence to check-in procedures related to allergy statements and BP safety controls 

What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications) 

• Food experience desired, all experience considered Ability to read and write the English language Preferred Qualifications 
• Education 
• High School Diploma or equivalent Experience (GED)
• 3 years of administrative office experience. Knowledge/Skills 
• Ability to optimally prioritize 
• Possesses a strong work ethic 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Excellent planning and organizational skills 
• Be able to optimally connect with all levels of the organization 
• Ability to take initiative and work independently of close supervision. Equipment/Special Expertise 
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite 
• Basic math skills 
• Must be available to work any day of the week 
• Must be 18 years of age or older
