RemoteSenior Analyst, Inside Sales– Military Avionics & Helicopters Sales & Business Development
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about becoming business development professionals while learning the nuts and bolts of the military avionics portfolio. The Insides Sales Senior Analyst for military avionics will fulfill a vital function on the team by helping to align orders to sales to ensure we can meet our financial commitments. This requires coordination across the integrated product team and OEM, government, or military customers to establish willingness and timeline to buy. Finally, you will help qualify prospective opportunities by making initial contact with customers, developing leads and performing gate reviews to determine if the prospects are concrete. This entry level role will provide an introduction to customer interaction, financial commitments and business development, while preparing you for the next level of achievement at Collins Aerospace.
To be successful in this role an individual must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, work well independently, as well as a team environment, and be self-motivated with a commitment to understanding and satisfying customer needs.
What You Will Do:
You will organize and lead reviews across a wide swath of the integrated product team
You will report your progress to multiple stakeholders including senior and executive level leaders
You will receive a better understanding of the missions of militaries around the world
You will help a team of professionals achieve a purchase order goal for the annual and five year financial plan
You will conduct initial customer conversations and collaborate with the IPT to win new business
You will develop a broad knowledge about business development, and prepare yourself for the next step in Collin Aerospace
Your success will be measured in how well you can lead the team in accurately forecasting opportunities, how well you will conduct internal coordination meetings, and your general aptitude with customers and stakeholders
Minimal travel to support pursuit efforts in various locations is required
What You Will Learn:
You will become an expert in our customer resource management tool, Salesforce
You will learn the Challenger methodology for solving customer problems
You will learn about the technologies that make aircraft smarter, safer and connected
You will learn business development skills, and learn the different roles associated with the integrated product team
You will learn leadership, time management, and collaboration
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
1 year of business development-related employment, such as marketing, sales, customer account representative, etc.
Minimal (~10%) travel to support pursuit efforts in various locations is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Passionate about solving internal stakeholder and external customer problems
Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are required
Ability to quickly learn new tools
Knowledge of SAP, Tableau and other business applications is desired but not required
Knowledge of government proposals and contracting is desired, but not required
