Raytheon is seeking a Test and Validation Engineer providing enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.
What You Will Do
Plan, coordinate, and conduct testing events.
Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with test participants.
Review test objectives and success criteria.
Develop and review detailed test plans (DTP) and detailed checklist (DCLs) for test events.
Develop and support enterprise transition activity plan (ETAP) if required.
Coordination of Maintenance Activities (MA) and Memo grams.
Monitoring of net during test activities as a test director.
Expected to Travel 15% of the time.
What You Will Learn
Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
Communicate with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively guide parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and less than 2 years of prior engineering experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Knowledge of cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices.
System Engineering practices regarding Testing, Verification and Validation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods.
