Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Technology Zone provides the infrastructure for various virtual and in-person enablement events where clients, business partners and IBMers are provided a hands-on experience with IBM Technology. As the Technical Learning Specialist, you would be responsible for ensuring successful infrastructure deployments to support IBM Learning courses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
• Provide infrastructure support to Technical Enablement content developers as they leverage IBM Technology Zone infrastructure to develop courses,
• Become the Learning Content Development (LCD) application expert, bettering existing processes, implementing required changes, and driving additional features and functionality,
• Monitor various IBM Learning Slack channels to provide support and insights to stakeholders,
• Monitor scheduled paid learning courses to ensure all deploy successfully,
• Work with the IBM Learning Leader to implement the new approach for paid learning bookings and scheduling,
• Responsible for managing all operations associated with IBM Learning.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 2+ years of experience in the IT industry,
• Solid understanding of various infrastructures and technology - VMware, Cloud, SaaS, RedHat Virt, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills,
• Excellent relationship management & communication skills,
• Proven ability to work with various levels in the organization,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on a high-performance team.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Understanding of IBM technology an asset,
• Experience working in an enablement or learning organization preferred,
• Experience with project management tools - Monday.com an asset.
