About the Role:
In this role within the Distribution Strategy team, you will delve into big data to understand viewership data across TV and subscription report data. You'll use analytics to uncover growth opportunities, create actionable recommendations for growth in distribution revenue and reach of Star Network Linear TV channels. Additionally, you'll manage analytical resources and deliver findings to leadership, shaping insights-driven narratives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy:
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Data Analysis:
- Oversee the analysis of large datasets to identify viewership trends, patterns, and insights
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights from BARC, Subscription Reports etc to support business decision-making.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau and reports that communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the analytics function.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in analytics and data management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard development – Knowledge of BARC will be added advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
