Job Description
Onsite - Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week
The Role -
This leader will be responsible to lead the Perceptual Quality and Design Quality activities in GMTCK, with cross-functional collaboration, in addition this leader will be also leading the team to implement realistic virtual tools to support the Perceptual and Design Quality assessments.
This leader will be participating in leadership reviews and global meetings to make presentations relative to his job responsibilities.
What you'll do -
- Lead GMTCK Perceptual Quality and Design Quality process (PQDQ)
- Lead new technology development to support and execute virtual assessment with high level of accuracy, fidelity, and reality in virtual assets after math synch points.
- Actively engage and lead the implementation of virtual tools and new technologies to support PQDQ assessments.
- Be the guardian of the customer inputs into vehicle design definition.
- Lead single issue list and scorecard process for PQDQ – ensure issues are visible and escalated.
- Lead robust and comprehensive benchmark analysis to drive and support PQDQ and design excellence decisions.
- Build strong relationship with Studio, Program Team/GVPT, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering
- Close work with all product engineering functions.
- Drive accountability for escalation and on-time problem resolution mindset within TCK/PEC leadership
- Drive innovation and work with simplicity mindset within his/her team
- Participate in global forums representing GMTCK when required.
- Manage and lead the group with respect to their career development and workload management.
- Foster and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment to motivate team members.
- Responsible for making innovative culture in group and encouraging to generate more innovative designs and ideas.

- Engineering Degree
- Experience in the Automotive or Technology Industry
- English Proficiency
- Comfort around higher management levels
- Effective Communication and negotiation skills
- Can work under pressure and manage multiple issues at same time.
