What you will do:
As the Production Scheduler, you will assist in coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.
- Understand work flow within manufacturing processes
- Run Daily Plan and other standardized tools to assist the value stream leadership
- Work with Value stream purchaser and review at appropriate frequencies; raw material Purchase Orders (Pos) and sub component POs
- Monitor aged WIP, Open balances on POs and Receive/ Inspect inventories
- Ensure the data integrity of all planning models and Oracle systems
- Work with PTL to plan production resources, OT levels, Resource Level Loading, and WIP Inventories
- Cut routers to the floor, archive routers, cycle counts on WHs, and Raw material storage/ Lot control
- Quickly address issues via counter –measures/ trouble-shooting with focus on root cause continuous improvement planning
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
What you need:
- High school diploma or GED, required
- Three (3) years relevant manufacturing experience, required
- Experience working in a GMP environment, preferably in the Medical Device industry, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook email), preferred
