What you will do:
Technical Responsibilities:
Test changes to existing product portfolio including applications developed in .NET, C/C++, Java and web applications for Windows and Linux operating systems
Develop test plans and execute procedures and scripts for requirements-based testing of medical devices in accordance with internal software development lifecycle requirements in compliance with FDA software development guidance.
Work directly with technical leadership and own software testing with responsibility of breaking down work, scheduling, risks, and project updates.
Support existing products by troubleshooting customer issues, installation issues and manufacturing problems
Own cyber-security investigations and assessments
General Responsibilities:
Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Customer Operations, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success, both leading and influencing other leaders on the team
Identify and propose improvements to procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required
Execute against plan for segments of complex product changes to advance projects through the design /development/launch process
Hold self and others accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy and drive to meet business priorities
Mentor, develop and inspire others in current and future roles
What You Need
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
2+ years of work experience
Knowledge of configuring and using Windows Server and Linux operating systems
Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, web services / API and testing techniques of web applications.
Knowledge of networking concepts, configuration, and implementation.
Knowledge of cyber-security assessment techniques and tools
Software testing techniques including manual and automated testing
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred):
Experience with verifying and validating software products in an FDA or other regulated industry highly preferred.
Familiar with concepts of design input, design output, traceability, and risk.
Cyber-security assessments and tools (Nessus, BurpSuite).
Experience with scripting language such as Python.
Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium.
Experience with Audio and Video (analog/digital) processing, transmission, compression, and encryption.
Expert knowledge with networking including switching, routing, sniffing, ports and protocols, and tools (Wireshark, Managed Switch Configuration).
Experience managing a VM infrastructure and cloud computing.
Experience with PowerShell and Win PE.
Certifications including but not limited to Security+, SSCP, Network+, CCNA
