Cebu Technological University, formerly known as Cebu State College of Science and Technology (CSCST), comprises nine campuses throughout the Province of Cebu. It became a state university on November 10, 2009, under Republic Act No. 9744. The campuses are located in Cebu City (Main Campus), Argao, Barili, San Francisco, Carmen, Daanbantayan, Danao, Moalboal, and Tuburan.

A premier, multidisciplinary-technological University. The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical instruction for particular purposes, advanced studies in industrial trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry, aeronautics, land-based programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology, etc. relevant field of study. It shall also undertake research and extension services and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization (Sec. 2 of RA 9744).

The University shall produce scientifically and technologically oriented human capital equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes. It shall likewise pursue relevant research to strengthen linkages with the industry, community, and other institutions and maintain sustainable technology to preserve the environment.

Students shall have the right to choose their field of study subject to screening policies. No applicant for enrollment, whether old or new student, is allowed without presentation of proper credentials. CTU faculty and staff have taken every opportunity to bask in the sun. And what is better than getting some quality time outdoors while building stronger relationships with the people you have spent the majority of your days with. While there is one active internship program in the Netherlands, another in Israel is up for the agri-students of Cebu Technological University Barili. For the first batch this year, two students will undergo the program for 11 months.

Korea’s most extensive national HEI, Pusan National University, invited CTU researcher Dr. Lanndon A. Ocampo to share and deliver high–impact research outputs to academics in the Engineering and Computational Optimization Laboratory of the Department of Industrial Engineering.
