We are a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 Christian school located at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. We would love for you to visit our wonderful College community. Kindergarten children excitedly exploring their surrounds . . . Primary students sharing a favorite story with their younger 'buddy' class . . . VET students preparing a special meal in the kitchen . . .

These are just some of the activities occurring in the daily life of our College community. Every activity, conversation, assignment, and excursion is an opportunity to grow in understanding as we serve God and one another. We are a Christian school community established by Christian parents to educate their children according to their Biblically-based beliefs. These include:

  • an affirmation of God's sovereignty over all of life,
  • the Bible rather than culture informs our practice, and
  • parents have the Biblical responsibility to educate their children.

As a College, we desire to support parents to orient the heads, hearts, and hands of their children to Christ and His Word through our shared understanding of Christian schooling. In 1980, a group of pioneering Christian families started an Association with the vision of establishing a Christian school in Frankston to educate their children in a formal environment supportive of their own Christian beliefs. With God's help, the original families realized their dream in 1982, opening Frankston Christian School with an initial enrollment of 39 students.

The School Moved To Its Current Site Two Years Later...And is now transforming an adjacent parcel of land into our new Secondary campus. Bayside Christian College continues to provide an education committed to its founding purposes, helping parents equip their children for practical, God-glorifying lives as Christians in the world. Nurturing in students the development of a Biblical understanding of the world and life. Helping students to discover and develop their God-given abilities and to recognize and respect those of others.
