Two schools on one campus--on the front porch of the Claremont Colleges, Los Angeles, and the Pacific Rim. A fully accredited museum of paleontology. The students themselves carry out an honor code. A college placement record includes 90% of each graduating class attending colleges and universities in the top 10% nationwide. Students on campus from 10 states and 17 countries. A commitment to team sports, outdoor adventure, and participation in the arts. These attributes only begin to describe what makes Webb, Webb. While the school was founded in 1922 in the grand tradition of the best boarding schools of the eastern United States, Webb has since grown to embrace the American West's adventurous spirit where it thrives. Webb today is a vibrant community of unbounded thinkers pushing to solve problems and educate young boys and girls to become honor-bound leaders.

The mission of The Webb Schools is to provide an exemplary learning community that nurtures and inspires boys and girls to become men and women who: think boldly, mindfully, and creatively act with honor and moral courage, lead with distinction serve with a generous spirit.

Webb today is a vibrant community of unbounded thinkers pushing to solve problems and educate young boys and girls to be honor-bound leaders. Our graduates are advanced in the arts and humanities, math and sciences, and social sciences. And our college placement into the Ivy League, into the best women's colleges and small national liberal arts colleges, and, in fact, into the top 10 percent of all colleges and universities nationwide, remains remarkable.

At Webb, we focus on giving students broad-based liberal arts and sciences education where learning happens through authentic discovery and rigorous scholarship. We work to prepare students, not just for entry into the most selective colleges and universities but also for the rigors of leading in a fast-paced, fluid global community where personal integrity and moral courage are paramount. To these ends, every part of the Webb experience reflects our commitment and dedication to:

  • A unique approach to single-sex education helps boys and girls grow in confidence while learning to respect and appreciate one another.
  • Develop habits of mind that prepare students for the creative and critical thinking needed in our complex global society. This includes providing abundant opportunities for exploration, discovery, and unbounded thinking.
  • Maintain the highest honor standards by teaching and modeling virtues of enduring worth: honesty, responsibility, respect, fairness, and compassion.
  • Transform students' lives through a meaningful boarding experience that nurtures independence alongside trust, empathy, leadership, and a sense of belonging.

The Webb Schools are committed to fostering an inclusive school community characterized by openness, acceptance, and empathy, where all members are valued, respected, and supported. Our community is strengthened by our students' diverse views, beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences, faculty, staff, and alumni. Embracing diversity in all its many forms is essential to our mission: in particular, our call to provide an exemplary learning community that nurtures future leaders who will act with honor and moral courage and serve with a generous spirit.
