The Bear Creek School, nestled between the Cascade Range and Puget Sound, strives to be distinctively Christian and college preparatory by developing the Christian worldview through an academically rigorous curriculum. In the spirit of the ancient liberal arts tradition, education at The Bear Creek School nurtures the heads, the hearts, and the hands of young men and women, so they are prepared for collegiate success and equipped to lead by engaging the world with wisdom, compassion, and courage.

At Bear Creek, we believe it is not enough to train a student'sstudent's mind without devoting instruction to character and spiritual development. Here, students gain an in-depth knowledge of Scripture and learn how to apply Biblical principles in their lives. We believe that God'sGod's character is revealed not only in His Word but also in every facet of Creation; therefore, we teach that all knowledge is interrelated and can instruct us about God Himself.

That integration is the promise of high-quality Christian education. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, Christian liberal arts education in a nurturing environment that will enable each student to become the individual God intends. The liberal arts are defined as the studies (language, philosophy, history, literature, abstract science, and mathematics) intended to provide broad knowledge and to develop the intellectual capacities of reason, judgment, and discernment.
