The school has recently garnered attention for escalating tensions between its secular traditions and a base of ultraconservative Salafist students in the wake of the Tunisian Revolution's political upheaval. The University of Manouba intends to attract students who want to develop their potential. For this, executives, teachers, and researchers are working to revitalize the links between research and teaching by applying the necessary complementarity between the humanities, social, technical, experimental, literature, and the arts.
