Both Professional Advisers carry out academic advising at Penn State Mont Alto in the DUS Advising Center and Faculty Advisers across campus. Prospective students can obtain assistance from and direct their questions to the Admissions Office. DUS aspires to lead the academic advising profession's continuing development at Penn State and across the nation. We will demonstrate our leadership by contributing to the scholarship of advising, guiding the continuing development of professional standards, and providing the advising community with the most exemplary advising practices and the most sophisticated assessment models.
The Division of Student Affairs and the Offices of Campus and Residence Life provide services and programs designed to complement formal classroom learning, enrich the collegiate experience, and promote student success.
Counseling services provide individual counseling, crisis intervention, psychological evaluations for students, and prevention and consultation services for the University community.
