Nyameko High School is situated in N.U 8 in Mdantsane, South Africa’s 2nd biggest township that was established during apartheid South Africa. The school is a home of many great graduates who are now impactful in the different areas of the South African economy. The school is known for its consistent great set of Grade 12 results.

To be a school that provides a qualitative and quantitative education that is second to none. We envision our school as being elevated to be one of the top-class schools of our country that provides her learners with the best technological, scientific and commercial tuition this land can provide, to prepare them for the academic and corporate world!

We are committed to working in partnership with the members of the school community to ensure that each learner receives the best education possible. We will do this by:

• Providing the necessary resources to ensure quality education.
• Working in teams and being supportive, encouraging, and trustworthy.
• Preparing our learners to enter the careers of their choice as responsible citizens of society
• Meeting all the needs of the relevant stakeholders

Our learners have many well though academic streams to choose from, which are:

• Stream A: Mathematics, Accounting, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences.
• Stream B: Mathematics, Geography, Business Studies, Life Sciences.
• Stream Mathematics, Accounting, Business Studies, Tourism
• Stream Math. Literacy, Tourism, History, Geography

Nyameko High School has the basic academic facilities for its academic teaching, including a computer laboratory. There is also a Science Lab which is used for Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. A library, equipped with reading books and additional academic books is available and accessible to the learners. We are trying with limited resources to keep up with the latest educational technological advances, hence, we have recently acquired the Overhead Projectors for teaching and learning. Most of our teachers have been provided with Laptops to support their teaching activities. With the funding assistance of Mercedes Benz, our school has Wi-Fi internet access for effective teaching and learning for our teachers and learners.
