Welcome to Thamer International Schools better known as “A Community of Leaders and Learners”. We, at TIS, prepare our students for their potential encounters of today and tomorrow by engaging them in critical thinking and provoking challenges and authentic learning experiences.
Taking into consideration the diverse cultural backgrounds of these students, we treasure every student’s unique individuality and strive to make TIS an ideal community for our young learners of today and future leaders of the world. To boost their confidence and prepare them for a perfect future students are encouraged to participate and get elected in the TIS Student Council. This promotes leadership qualities and students are given abundant opportunities to be decisive. Indulging in casting votes provides them with an opportunity to show their choice.

At TIS it means an exciting and challenging curriculum, a broad range of sporting, artistic and cultural opportunities, and an environment that is specifically created to instigate the values of independent leadership, responsibility towards others, and the enjoyment of challenge.
TIS has been offering a variety of External Exams and is in the process of preparing its students to appear for these exams so that they can be prepared to enroll in universities around the world. Our team of specialized academic faculty and staff are committed 
towards training the students and obtaining outstanding results.
The amalgamation of our curriculum along with the extra-curricular activities is second to none. We strive to create an environment where every student is given the attention necessary to achieve his/her success. The strong partnership that is developed with the parents, plays an important role in the success of our school.
The Parent Council comprises affluent and qualified individuals who are sincerely committed not only to the overall growth of their children but all the other students as well. TIS is co-educational from Nursery till Grade 3 and segregated from Grade 4 till the year of graduation. It legally operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education Moreover, it is accredited by NCA – CASI (Northcentral Association Commission On Accreditation and School Improvement) and is a Cambridge International Attached Center.
TIS which was founded in the year 2000 is owned by H.R.H. Faisal Bin Thamer Al Saud and managed by its own SET. The school’s community incorporates students from various backgrounds and cultures. We ensure that utmost priority is given to parents’ major concern which is the education of the highest quality.
The substantial growth in the student strength of TIS is evidence of the trust that parents have in the educational system of the school. We strive and persevere to ensure that we provide our students with the best possible leadership opportunities.
We do not just focus on academic performance but also believe in the overall and ethical grooming of every student encouraging and enabling pupils to work effectively and independently is our key goal. Our senior management team, consisting of leading figures, is the backbone of the school. Thamer International Schools (T.I.S.) is a private independent day school. Being an international, selective, and non-discriminative school, it caters to both the local and expatriate communities in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
