KYS international school is a college of excellence that focuses specifically on the Cambridge 'A' Level program. We welcome both day students and boarding students to follow our highly academic and challenging two-year program. Our students will study 3 or 4 AS Level subjects in their first year, continuing onto the second year with their chosen 3 or 4 subjects to complete the full A-Level program. Our highly experienced teachers, besides possessing the requisite in-depth knowledge of their subject matter, are also conversant with classroom practices that promote discourse, critical thinking, and student-centredness.
This prepares them for their tertiary education and also their future employment. Our teachers take a great effort to enable students to gain admission into top universities in the world, prominently in the UK and New Zealand. This means getting good academic results as well as acquiring skills for interviews and aptitude tests required by some universities.

We offer a focused A-Levels program (CIE), where our students will study 5 to 6 AS level subjects in the first year, progressing into the second year with only 4 AS subjects to continue to full A-Levels. This will ensure all our students will graduate with a high qualification from the university of their choice.
All students will be required to study Thinking Skills to develop their reasoning abilities in English. This is excellent preparation for the UK medicine qualifying examination (BMAT) which most of the UK’s top medical universities require to admit suitable candidates as prospective students.
