Trades Norwest Anglican Senior College is a co-educational senior trade school that offers an alternative model to traditional schools. Year 11 and 12 students can focus on a vocational education pathway in a senior college environment. Students who complete the HSC and the first year of an Apprenticeship/Traineeship can earn while they learn. We provide a caring and nurturing environment. Each student has a Mentor who takes a close interest in the students' work and school life.

Our Vision The Lord will be the sure foundation of your times, a rich source of salvation and wisdom, and knowledge. Our Mission is To be a positive, supportive and creative learning environment based on solid Christian foundations where students are encouraged and enabled to make wise choices for their future to achieve skilled employment. Feedback from parents, students, and visitors to the College confirms that Trades Norwest Anglican Senior College is a place where young people can start to reach their potential in their chosen career area.

We believe in God, the creator of all things, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection bring us back into contact with God. We demonstrate this through:

  • Knowing that God can guide, support, and sustain us throughout our lives.
  • Understanding others, their needs, and how they are different from us.
  • Acknowledging when others are hurt by our words or actions, and letting go of feelings against those who have hurt us.
  • Following through on what we say we will do, and working together to make our College a better place for everyone.

We believe that Jesus Christ demonstrated what it means to be fully human. We demonstrate this through:

  • Treating other people in ways that show they are important and valued.
  • Avoiding impulsive, disruptive, and disrespectful behavior and seeing difficulties as opportunities for growth.
  • Being dependable, reliable, and accountable for our actions.
  • Committing to doing what is right and following tasks through to their completion.

We seek to follow the example of Jesus Christ who came not to be served but to serve others and who gave his life that we might have eternal life. We demonstrate this through

  • Being a part of something bigger than just the individual sharing resources, skills, and knowledge.
  • Seeking to give, not just receive.
  • Behaving in a manner that is genuine, believable, and trustworthy.
  • Caring for the well-being of others.
