LCA is an interdenominational school that glorifies God in supporting Christian families by providing a biblically integrated and academically excellent education. An LCA student will be equipped to impact his or her world by exhibiting strong Christian character including service to God and others, and by demonstrating academic achievement, biblical leadership, and the ability to articulate and defend a Christian worldview in all areas of life.
The mission of Lighthouse Christian Academy is to partner with Christian parents to provide a biblically integrated and academically excellent education to develop each child’s Christ-like character, intellectual ability, and physical health to the glory of God.

LCA meets all state curriculum requirements, is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education, and is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.
Choosing a school is an extremely important decision as you carry out your God-given responsibility for the education of your children. Lighthouse Christian Academy sees its role as partnering with parents to carry out this task. Our students, K-12 have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of educational experiences: academic, arts, and athletic related. Every area of influence experienced by the student is guided by a Biblical approach.
Our faculty and staff are committed to Christian education. They are committed to our Lord Jesus Christ, to the mission of the school, and the children at LCA. They seek to have each child develop his/her God-given gifts. Our theme verse is Mathew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven,” and our goal is to equip our students to be a LIGHT.
Lighthouse Christian Academy is fully accredited by the State of Indiana, State Board of Education through Freeway Status. LCA is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The ACSI is an association of Christian schools whose motto is to strengthen Christian schools and equip Christian educators worldwide as they prepare students academically and inspire them to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
The LCA Statement of Faith contains fundamental Christian doctrines that Lighthouse Christian Academy teaches and holds unreservedly. These foundational doctrines will be enthusiastically affirmed by the faculty in the classrooms at LCA. Faculty, staff, parents and students should also be aware that certain positions not found in the Statement of Faith are primarily left to the teachings of the student’s home and church.
The Lighthouse Christian Academy philosophy of Christian education is based upon the Biblical teaching that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. Only a Christ-centered education can have meaning and can validly prepare youth for time and eternity. The goal of all education is to help man glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Since a true understanding of the world in which we live cannot be gained apart from the knowledge of the Creator, all aspects of the curriculum should be distinctly Christian, taking into account God’s revelation of Himself. A primary portion of our service to God is to center around loving our neighbors. To this end, a full education should include an emphasis on acquiring and understanding the history and state of the culture within which they will serve God through their dealings with their neighbors.
