Out of its belief in the country and its inherent capabilities and potential impact on the future, Al-Asriyya Schools has adopted the main motto of “Heritage and Future”, as it endeavors to grant its students an opportunity for learning, gaining experiences, developing skills, and enriching knowledge.

Al-Asriyya Schools seeks to develop students’ talents and creativity through original curricula that are forward-looking, combining the nation’s noble heritage on one hand and the accelerated progress of civilization on the other. These curricula are taught by a selected educational staff that is both experienced and efficient. To be able to achieve the difficult balance between upholding the national and pan-Arab identity and undertaking modern methods, the staff is keen to keep updated on the latest curricula that have been adopted on the local and international front and in a manner that fulfills the schools’ message and motto.

On the other hand, we, at Al-Asriyya Schools, pay particular attention to gifted students through what is known as the “enriching program”. We also pay special attention to students who suffer from learning difficulties and those with special needs. We identify their problems and help them integrate with their peers by developing their gifts and highlighting their capabilities and hidden potential.

Therefore, our message revolves around our student, whom we aspire to become an individual committed to himself/herself and well-informed about progress and civilization, and one who adopts what co-relates with his culture and beliefs by learning the ways of good thinking, deduction, conclusion, decision-making, initiative-taking, and creativity.

Schools have sought to train teachers on teaching methods that include some purposeful activities designed to instigate students’ thinking process, to push them to acquire the necessary knowledge and to train them on research and investigation skills. This is to ensure that Al-Asriyya Schools’ academic approaches in general and the plan of the student as an independent researcher, in particular, are achieved. The school has established a comprehensive three-year training plan for the teachers.

The Renzulli Learning Program. This program is considered one of the most important enriching and reinforcing programs that Al-Asriyya Schools have sought to adapt to determine students’ strengths and weaknesses, as well as the materials that s/he prefers to learn. This program includes a set of tools that help identify capabilities, tendencies, interests, learning patterns, motivation level towards learning, a student’s leanings, cognitive score, and current performance.

Realizing the important role of educational institutions in shaping the features of tomorrow's generations, we at AL-Asriyya Schools endeavor to achieve the following objectives and goals:

  • Establish generations capable of interaction with genuine dialogue based on respect of other perspectives and opinions, as well as the ability to use diversified and different approaches to handle various issues according to their nature.
  • Create an efficient educational environment and provide suitable educational atmospheres that allow students to interact and exchange information between themselves and with teachers and other workers in a healthy environment that helps expand their thinking horizons and enhances the values of tolerance and understanding.
  • Develop new skills and original values that help students integrate with and affect current and future societies.
  • Work on equipping students with the suitable capabilities and skills that qualify them to become effective individuals capable of upholding responsibility and decision-making.
  • Build close cooperation ties with students' guardians and parents and involve them in the educational planning process and benefiting from their problem-solving experiences.
  • Expand and strengthen students' connection with the local community by involving them in societal activities and charity work on one hand and familiarizing them with volunteer and social work on the other.
  • Develop the staff, especially the teachers, and enhance their efficiency continuously through skill development programs and training courses, as well as providing job security.

In the first five years, a child is in the formation period of life. It’s a phase in which children’s personalities are molded. Kindergarten consists of a system that reinforces skills, imagination, and physical energy. Our schooling system provides the way for a KG student towards a strong academic foundation through an inquiry-based approach to learning.

Students of this department should be at the age of 3, playgroup is a one-year level preceding KG, enabling a student to be well-founded before entering the next phase. Playgroup depends on fun, children at the age of three have a lot of imagination that needs to be put in the right direction. The department is designed to train children of this age, educate them, and put them through the experience of a classroom and group-studying, giving them the chance to spend their energy on smart thinking and playing.

The elementary stage constitutes the first step on the student's academic path, as s/he begins to receive information and knowledge and seriously interacts with the teacher. Therefore, we at Al-Asriyya School endeavored to help students in this stage to acquire basic knowledge and skills in a sound social environment. We also help them develop their human emotions and express them correctly, as they understand their needs as individuals by interacting with others and becoming effective persons in their communities.

The secondary stage witnesses the most important changes a person passes through, which shape his/her future personality. The teenage years start at this level, requiring special attention and privacy in dealing, where administrative and academic issues are concerned. Hence, we at AL-Asriyya Schools are keen to help students acquire knowledge and basic experiences, and at the same time, enjoy a safe and proper social life as effective members of society. We also strive to enhance the feeling of the value of life for students, especially at the higher levels, through a professional development process aimed at understanding society more deeply, and also through understanding their interests and needs at this stage. We believe that the student's academic capabilities are not restricted to information acquired, but should extend to the student's ability to think independently and acquire knowledge and skills.
