In Elmshorn, over one thousand students visit the Leibniz Private School. We have four kindergarten classes, simply referred to as “Die Lütten”, a three-class elementary school, a two-class certified Gemeinschaftsschule, a three-class Gymnasium with a four-class high school (Grade 10-12). At the Leibniz Privatschule three different degrees are available: the first Degree (erster Schulabschluss), the middle degree (mittlerer Schulabschluss), and the Abitur.

The same counts for our school in Hitzhusen near Bad Bramstedt, where we have two kindergarten classes, two classes in the elementary school in Weddelbrook, one class in the Gemeinschaftsschule, and a two-class Gymnasium with High School. Here, too, all three degrees are available: the first Degree (Erster Schulabschluss), the middle degree (mittlerer Schulabschluss), and the Abitur.

We seek to deliver not only education but to help young people to develop strong personalities and to be prepared for life. We aim to enable them to flourish in their chosen fields, for example in academic, cultural, and sporting pursuits. We encourage intercultural understanding while paying respect to cultural and national identities. Our values:

At Leibniz Privatschule we aim to encourage students to challenge themselves intellectually and to enjoy learning. We believe in a holistic approach to education, where students experience arts, sciences, sports, and a plethora of extra-curricular activities. All students are part of our community and contribute to it through their effort and responsibility. We emphasize respectful behavior, honesty, and kindness. We strive to encourage our students to become creative and compassionate individuals, who are curious about the world around them and will make their way in a globalized future.
