The London School was founded in 2012 and established in a beautiful century home in the heart of downtown London, Ontario. The concept for the school is rooted in a recognized need for quality education that is capable of meeting the continuously changing learning dynamic of youth living in a complex and multifaceted world.
The London School offers Middle and High School Programs with enrichment and support. These programs have redefined education and our teachers are pioneering our innovative educational approach. We offer a challenging curriculum that is focused on developing personal capabilities and capacities supported by authentic, personalized education.
The London School offers personalized, private education in the heart of the Forest City for grades 7 through 12. Our campus offers a comprehensive full-time program, as well as part-time and homeschooling options. We are a Ministry of Education inspected the private school and have been granted authority to provide courses offering credits towards The Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
We recognize that today’s learners must be capable of independent, flexible thinking in times of continuous change. To this end, the school has developed a unique approach to multidisciplinary learning, which we believe is the blueprint for the future of education. Small class sizes are key, with courses taught by subject specialists. Our classes and enrichment programs are based on the Trillium Teaching™ model of curriculum delivery. This authentic learning experience enlivens the curriculum and maximizes student engagement. The London School is focused on making a difference and developing a community of youth who will aim for excellence in everything that they do.
Our programs integrate current knowledge, technology, and opportunities as we build skills necessary for the future. We aim to deepen and customize the learning experience while strengthening skills and exciting a passion for learning in a creative, collaborative environment. We believe that early adolescence is a significant time for young learners to find success and develop their individual learning goals while preparing themselves for the challenges of the future.
Our staff holds high expectations for student achievement while providing programs that take into consideration the unique characteristics, personal learning styles, interests, current skill levels, and goals of the individual. With an eye to the future, our programs focus on skill development, refinement, and authentic assessment. We aim to provide opportunities for youth to become life-long learners prepared for today and for whatever their future holds.
